What are Moroccan geodes?
As opposed to the volcanic origin of many geodes, the Moroccan geodes form in sedimentary rocks. The explanation of geodes in sedimentary rock is more complicated than that of volcanic geodes, because sedimentary rock doesn’t have the natural cavities in it like volcanic rock does, but tight layers, with a lot less movement. There’s two possibilities for the origins of these cavities.
What can be found inside?
There’s all kinds of minerals found in the geodes. The true contents are impossible to guess from the outside, but there are a few that are found often.
